“I was eager to find a way to make my partner’s mid-pandemic birthday special. This specialty vegan birthday cake was just the ticket! Mikka was very responsive and easy to work with - she made a delicious dark choc cake with vegan buttercream frosting (not too sweet which is how the hubby likes his choc) and topped it with a dark chocolate drip, nibs and a bit of cardamom. So good!”

“Mikka made me my birthday cake for my 30th. The only kind of cake I like is carrot cake and she made me one with ice cream! Not only that, my birthday was on a houseboat on the lake and she specially tailored the design to include that. She made the cake with so much love and attention that to this day, it is still my favorite birthday cake I’ve ever had.

The communication of what I wanted and setting up the pick up was easy and prompt, while she still remained very flexible with my schedule. “I attended a birthday party and had the pleasure of tasting one of Mikka’s fabulous cakes. O.M.G!!!!! It was heavenly. One of the best, if not *the* best cake I’ve ever had. I’m also a sucker for ice cream cake... my favorite. I learned that it takes Mikka a full 3 days to put a cake together because of all the layering. Now that’s dedication and patience!! The result is phenomenal. She is clearly a dessert baking expert. The cake we tried was a variation of banana and mocha ice cream cake. I am still longing for its delicious flavor melting in my mouth!!! On top of delicious, the cakes really are beautiful. The birthday party theme was based on the classic film “Vertigo”, and Mikka created a blue sparkly cake with a golden gate bridge decoration. How original and creative!!! I can’t wait to try her next mouth melting series...”

“Mikka surprised me on my birthday with her 5 layer Lavender Sparkle Cake and I have to say it was the best surprise of the evening! Not only was it incredibly delicious and beautiful to look at (I almost didn’t want to cut it!), but also just the right amount of sweetness. Most cakes I find are too sweet and sugary for my liking, but this one nailed it perfectly. And the best part is that Mikka’s cakes are always health conscious without compromising taste. Doesn’t get any better than that in my opinion!”

They are always healthy, incredibly delicious (she can make everything from scratch with high quality ingredients), and very creative. Every cake is unique and customized to the event and personality of the person it’s for. At this point I would never go anywhere else for a cake.”
